I recently started learning HTML and CSS. So I've been experimenting with inserting a stylesheet into an HTML document and everything but the layout information is transferring into the document. I've been doing a flexbox layout.
I was following what W3Schools taught for flexbox, and it works when I put it in <style> of the HTML document but it doesn't work when I try to insert it as an external source. And it's only the layout information that's not working, all of the other details are there. Does layout information just not work for stylesheets? Or is there something I could be missing?
